I had so much fun with the last challenge I joined that I decided to join another Mod Squad Challenge.
The challenge this week was to make a pop-up card. This week it's sponsored by Stampendous and there is a really nice prize....which I would like to win. :-)
So, I went through my stamps and found one that I thought would pop up nicely. And so, I made a baby shower card that looks something like this:
This is the front of the card. I used a rubber ducky patterned paper, then stamped the image (Stampa Rosa Stamps) and cut it out with a Spellbinders die. What you can't see is the outside of the die. I left it on after I cut it out and sponged the yellow ink around the inside, so there is a small white border around the cut out part. And forgive the wonky colors. I don't have a good digital camera, so I have to live with what I have.
This is the inside fold where I stamped the image, colored it and cut it out, then popped it up. I made my pop-up parts too big, so I had to cut out a sizzix grass die to cover my mistake, but I think it turned out pretty good.
This is the inside of the card, the top part. You can see the shadow from the baby carriage on the back, and the best part....it folds up flat to fit in an envelope. The very best kind of pop-up card.
I hope you have a great week.

Very cute card. Thanks for joining in the Mod Squad Challenge.
This is super cute! It took me a bit reading the description to figure out what you had done, and you have some very clever technique going on here! the cover-up with the grass is very smart. How many of these are you going to make?
So cute!!
How adorable, Miss Becky! I love the inside with grass and cute rubber ducky paper. I especially like the matching ribbon for the front and back! hugs, de
