Herringbone Card

I love the background of this card.  It's called a herringbone background, and a great way to get rid of scraps.  It was fairly easy to make, and looks fabulous in person.

I put double sided tape (I used carpet tape) on cardstock, then cut my strips into uniform widths.  You just start laying them down in a herringbone pattern (you can get the idea from my card), and trim off the excess.

Then I stamped and colored Miss Kitty (available from My Paper Moon) and layered it on my card.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing it.

I really like this herringbone pattern. If I ask nicely, maybe my friend, Becky, will come over and show me how to do it!! LOL
