Penny Black and More Challenge

Good morning!  I'm on a roll.  For someone who doesn't enter challenges, I have now entered 2!

Here is my latest card:

I washed the watercolor paper with purple and teal, then dried it with my heat gun. When it was dry I ran it through the embossing folder, then colored the embossed areas with spectrum noir markers.  I added a little ribbon and a best wishes tag and it's ready to go.

I am submitting this card to the Penny Black and More embossing folder challenge.  Wish me luck!

Purple/Teal Challenge

I don't usually join challenges, but the Mod Squad Challenge caught my eye, so I decided to give it a whirl.

Here is my creation:

It's really very pretty in real life, and the scan doesn't do it justice.  The Beaded Circles die is actually glossy cardstock sponged with purple, with teal sponged on the outer edges and then misted with water.  The 3 little blobs you see are purple gemstones.

I layered that onto a purple cardstock that had been run through an embossing folder, then layered that onto white cardstock.

Stamps are by Melanie Meunchinger,  Gina K. Designs.

I think it will make a pretty birthday card for my sister.

Hugs,

P. S.  I also submitted it to the Penny Black and More Embossing Folder challenge.
