Watercolor/Paper Piercing Technique

Good morning!

Today I want to share a cool technique.

I stamped the image on the back of water color paper.  Then I used a paper piercer to pierce the outline. I turned the water color paper over, and watercolored the pierced image.  You will need to use an image that doesn't have a lot of detail, and this sunflower image from My Paper Moon worked well.  The sentiment was stamped on gold foil paper (which shows up brown in the scan) and cut out using a die, then attached to the card with ribbon.  An easy card to make, but looks  nice.

I really like this idea - I will have to see if I have the right stamps to give it a try.

This is my new favorite technique (for right now).
